ABOUT TECHNIQUE
To create my paintings, I use a unique technique called “Wool Painting”, also known as “Wool Watercolor”. The image is created by hand placing fine wool fibers layer by layer on the back of the picture frame without using a special needle, water, glue, or paint. This process of ‘painting’ takes many upon many hours to complete. Once finished, the picture is covered with glass to secure wool fibers in place and inserted into the frame. The result is a “wool painting” of extraordinary warmth and texture.
ABOUT WOOL PAINTINGS
Paintings made from wool bring a special warmth and energy into the house, as they are made of natural fibers. By owning such a painting, you can ask your guests the mysterious question of what material is it made of. They will generally be indecisive on if it is painted in oil or with watercolor, but they will be decidedly delighted when learning it is created from natural sheep’s fiber. Wool painting is always a stylish decoration and original gift. It creates an atmosphere of magic and fills your home with comfort.
